Top Ten Tuesday |7|

I haven't participated in TTT in over a year (I think) but every week I visit so many blogs when they post their TTT and I finally gave in to join the fun (again!) Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by: The Broke and the Bookish.
This week's topic is: Top Ten Tuesday REWIND (pick a past topic that we've done that you missed or just want round 2 of!) and I'm rewinding: Favorite love stories/couples
"I want you," she burst out, and the tears spilled over again. "But I can't have you!" Hardy moved closer, gripping my head in his hands, forcing me to look at him. "Haven sweetheart... you've already have me."
This scene get me. Every. Single. Time. I ALWAYS tear up. One of the most emotional and moving scenes EVER. Hands down, no competition, no doubt, Blue-Eyed Devil is my favorite book in the universe. It's so well written and Lisa Kleypas handles everything in it just SO WELL. Hardy and Haven story is the best one I've ever read.

"Because I'm not very pretty. And I'm pregnant and awkward." He cradled her cheek tenderly. "No... no. You're a beautiful person. I saw that the first morning I was here."
Morning Glory is my favorite book of 2012. The romance was sooooo agonizingly slow- and that is the best compliment I could give when it comes to romance! It's set in the WWII time period where Will, who just got out of prison answers a newspaper ad to marry Elly a pregnant widow. Will who never had a family before anything good for the matter finds a place between Elly and her two sons and in return, he starts fixing her house and helping her. Will and Elly help each other, they become friends, they grow to care for each other. It's perfect. Perfect!!

“There's a thin line between love and hate. Maybe you're confusing your emotions.”
This is my favorite YA book! I love opposites attract and hate-love stories and this book combines both in a perfect mix of drama, humor and romance. Alex & Brittany's love is so real!!!

"Does she really let you call her Minnie?" ...
"Yes."
"She must love you a lot."
This is also my favorite book of 2012. This is a hate-love romance but what makes it different is that Min and Blake DESPISE each other. Especially Min, she has abosultely NO good feelings towards Blake. NONE. But then they're forced to marry (I love arranged marriages books!) and the swooning starts! We see Min and Blake grow to tolerate each other, to kinda start liking each other as people then caring for each other then loving each other. It. Is. Glorious.

"If..." Evie paused, suddenly embarrassed. "If anything happened to your looks... if you became less handsome. Your appearance wouldn't matter to me. I would still..." She paused and finished hesitantly, "..want you as my husband."
That quote is the definition of DEATH BY SWOONING. Evie and Sebastian St. Vincent () are pretty much polar opposites but they bring out the best in each other. Sebastian St. Vincent is a desperate Viscount slash MEGA rake and Evie is an equally desperate women who has a bad a stutter and is uncomfortable around people. But they get married. And they can't stand each other. But it works out perfectly. Just thinking about these two makes my heart beat extra fast. This book really just killed me you guys, SO DAMN FUCKING ROMANTIC.

"He would make her smile if it killed him."
This book just blew me away. It's good. REALLY good. Holy-fucking-guacamole good. Another favorite of the year! The dialogue is just so damn good and you really see Genevieve's and Moncrieffe relation just blossom.

P.S. the ebook is only 99 CENTS. So if you know whats good for you, if you like reading good books you'll love and IF YOU JUST HAVE 99 CENTS, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY, JUST BUY THIS BOOK. You will NOT regret it.

"I wasn't sure exactly what he was seeing, but now I had an idea. So this time, I smiled."
Just Listen is more than a romance book. Annabelle and Owen's relationship is just so deep. The things Owen helps Annabelle with, the levels their friendship goes to is just out-of-the-world good.

“Do you think I'm pretty?"
"I think you're beautiful"
"Beautiful?"
"You are so beautiful, it hurts sometimes.”
These two (':
I loved calm, controlled Dimitri with impulsive, crazy Rose. I could see their love just shinning out of the pages.

"My god, I thought, I love talking to you."
My god, I love reading YOU, Smooth Talking Stranger!!!!!!!! Like ALL of Lisa Kleypas's books, Smooth Talking Stranger is super fan-fucking-tastic. Seriously, just go to B&N, amazon, half priced books or whatever and BUY SOMETHING LISA KLEYPAS WROTE. She is an author queen.

Thanks for stopping by!! Have you read any of these books? did you agree with me? Leave a link to your TTT and I'll make sure to check it out :D

  1. I just read Blue-Eyed Devil this afternoon and I loved it! My favorite in the series is still Jack's story, that man made my toes curl and had butterflies in my stomach flitting around. I hope Joe gets his own book too!
