Top Ten Books  I'd Want On A Deserted Island
So last week, my friend asked me what is the one thing I would want with me if I was stuck on an island. My reply was an endless supply of Redbull. His reply was an endless supply of weed. But we came to the conclusion that A) I would get tired of Redbull and B) He would get used to the weed and it won't effect him anymore. So then I decided I wanted my perfect bed with me and he wanted an endless supply of coke (the drug, mind you). However, we realized the coke's effect on him would stop working so we decided that he needs an endless supply of interchangeable narcotics. I was sticking with my comfy bed and a third friend chimed in that he wanted strippers with him (we informed him that the strippers will get old real fast and that's he going to want them to stop stripping after a month) So I learned that the key to surviving on an island is not to get bored by having the same thing (and that my friends are quite the personality.)

So this list reflects that, I've got a variety of books. 5 YA and 5 adult. Contemporary, historical and paranormal. I could never get tired of them. They're my own stash of interchangeable narcotics ;D

1. Blue Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas
The everything. The funny, the heartbreaking, the romantic, the perfect, the epic, the flawless, the realistic. THIS BOOK HAS ALLL THE FEELS AND I'M GOING TO BE BURIED WITH IT! Hardy Cates is the greatest man on earth and I love him so fucking much I actually want the entire Travis series with me. GAGE. JACK.

2. Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
The everything YA. This is also the drama, the angst, the funny, the tears, the romantic, the swoony and everything in between.

3. Julie James
The perfect dialogue and romance. When I get lonely and I want to talk to someone, I'll just pick a Julie James novel and read the dialogue. Problem solved. I won't be lonely anymore AND I'll remember to appreciate being alone on the island because I don't have to deal with people who can't hold a perfect convo like Julie James's characters.

4. Two-Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt
The laugh out loud while everyone is sleeping on the plane hilarious. In this case I won't be disrupting anybody because I'll be alone. My pet island monkey will laugh along with me.

5. Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas
The romantic. Just thinking about this book makes my heart skip. The book should come with a caution: THIS BOOK WILL RESULT IN MUCH SWOONING.

6. Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols
The angsty AND funny. This the perfect balance between wit and drama. Thank you Jennifer Echols for writing this masterpiece.

7. What I Did for the Duke by Julie Anne Long
The perfect. Perfect dialogue and perfect romance. This book was not written by a person but it was created in a lab. The experiment was trying to create the most perfect book ever and they succeeded because it is quite perfect.

8. The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
No list will be complete without Sarah Dessen! Just Listen is currently my favorite SD, winning by .00001 but The Truth About Forever has better cast of characters that will entertain me on the island.

9. Confessions from an Arranged Marriage by Miranda Neville
The fantasy. I like fiction arranged marriages. SUE ME.

10.  Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead
The paranormal badass. Everybody needs a sarcastic Rose. AND DIMITRI.
Equipped with these books, being stuck on island would be a dream come true. Thank you for stopping by <3
