I normally don't do book haul videos, because I rarely have more than one or two books at a time to share. BUT I went to the annual fair in the town I grew up in, and they always have this crazy amazing book sale. And I got 33 books for a dollar, from all sorts of genres. Woo hoo!

I apologize; I don't have time to link up to all the books right now, or I won't make it to my little cousins' event on time. But I will come back and do so later! Until then, if you're curious as to all the awesome books I got, go ahead and watch my vlog! I promise that I don't ramble too much event though it's 8 minutes long. I just had a lot of books!

Here is my version of Stacking up the Shelves, Showcase Sunday or what floats your boat ;D This is a bundle book haul of the past 2-3 weeks since I was too lazy to do one before (story of my life xD)

A Midsummer's Nightmare by Kody Keplinger- I actually got this two weeks BEFORE the publication day. Amazon shipped it early, YAY! But I will not be reading it any time soon since I have to read The DUFF & Shut Out first (I hate reading books out of order, even if they are standalones. I'll read in order of publication date)
Won:
The Story of Us by Deb Caletti- Thanks to Sharon @Fictionally Inclined!  Deb Caletti's The Nature of Jade is one of my all time favorite YA books and she's also one of the first YA authors I read so of course I have a special place for her in my heart!
Partials by Dan Wells-  The dedication to this book is AWESOME! I can't wait to read it, it's such a pretty.
Netgalley:
Narc by Crissa-Jean Chappell -I saw Hannah @Paperback Treasures reading this book and I was intrigueeeeed. It looks quite interesting.
League of Strays by by L.B. Schulman- I was excited to read this book BUT I saw some reviews on it that lead me to think that I will hate it and I will hate it a lot. I have to give it a try since it's a review book though.
Dearly, Beloved by Lia Habel- I.Can.Wait.To.Start.This.Book!! I read Dearly, Departed earlier in the year and loved it. I need more Nora & Bram!
Forever and a Day by Jill Shalvis- This book 6 in the Friday Harbor series. I need to read book 4 & 5 first but I know all three will be great since this is Jill Shalvis ;D

I think this will be my last book haul for a while. I like showing you my physical books and since I will be going out of the country on Tuesday for the entire summer, no more physical books for me. Maybe I'll do a e-book haul if I get a lot one week :D

Birthday Book Haul

Thank you ALL for the birthday wishes! 

I had a wonderful and surprising birthday; it was a beautiful day :) I only had two classes on Wednesday and spent the rest of the time dancing to How To Save A Life because school is awesome like that<3

And because my friends know what a bookish nerd I am, I got books!! YAAAY :D 

An Abundance of Katherines by John Green

Funnily enough, this was given to me by my friend called Catherine. It was a lovely surprise seeing as I hadn't actually requested this book. She bought it on a whim, unsure of whether I would like it or not... BUT IT'S JOHN GREEN!!! *fangirls*

 Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver

From my dear cousin... I've been meaning to borrow this from the library for a while now.. though time has not been my friend of the late, sigh.. 

But now I have my own hard copy! So yaaay :D

City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare

I cannot tell you how much I've been anticipating this book! AND NOW I HAVE A PHYSICAL COPY! Again from my cousin.. and if you can see close enough, she's written me a note saying:
 

I judge you for not judging this book by it's cover.
She doesn't understand my absolute infatuation with this series and how it managed to be #1 best seller in our bookstore.. but oh well. I'M HAPPY!

And that's all for the books I got this week! My stack of books is gradually, but steadily, growing haha. Due to me reading mostly on my iPad and my lack of hard copy books, I don't actually have a bookshelf yet, but I WILL... one day...

 I have another book haul today, you can call it Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Tynga's Reviews, Showcase Sunday which is hosted by Books Biscuits and Tea or better yet, Mailbox Monday (or Sunday :p)

Somebody call 911, Racquel got a liiiiiittle craaaaaaazy! Holy freakin' gigantic book haul, look at all these beauties!! But worst of all, I can NOT even enjoy them )': I wake up I do my online classes, I go to school I do my online classes, I come home I do my online classes, I go to sleep and I dream about my online classes and waking up screaming (no joke). I'm so stressed out, all I want to do is cry. First of all I do NOT stress and I do NOT cry so ugh ugh ugh, someone save me!

Won:

• Split by Swati Avasthi- Emma loved this book and my book soul mate, Ari, did too so I MUST like it. It also seems to be a tear fest so YAAAY! Who doesn't love a book that gets your emotions up and running?

• The Treachery of Beautiful Things by Ruth Frances Long- My first experience with a fairy book was not a good one so I hope TToBT makes changes my mind about them.

• Bloodspell by Amalie Howard - Isn't that cover BEAUTIFUL? I just want to cuddle it to sleep because it's so pretty and nice to touch!

• Illuminate by Aimee Agresti bookmarks- now that I have the book's bookmarks, I should really get the book to read it since I wanted it for a while.

• The Little Woods by McCormick Templeman bookmarks & pins- yaay to creepy mystery books!

Netgalley:

• Breaking Lauren by Jordan Deen - My dear friend, Jen, reviewed this and I wanted it SOO bad because it sounds like MY type of book so when I sat it on netgalley with a 'read now' button, I did a happy dance.

• Beautiful Music for Ugly Children by Kirstin Cronn-Mills- Eye catching cover and an intriguing summary. Then I read a review on Goodreads and I knew I have to read this. It's somewhat out of my reading norm but when a book sounds good, a book sounds good!

• Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry  - the lovely Gianna loved this book and she highly recommended it to my contemporary whore self so I can't wait to start it! Especially since it always sounded good to me.

• Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian  - I love Siobhan Vivian and I will read every book she writes.

• Circle of Silence by Carol M. Tanzman - Dancergirl, the companion to this novel, was really good so I'm hoping this one is equally well written. Also, I'M QUOTED IN THE BOOK!!! ---->

• Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas - After I read and LOVED Grave Mercy, I have been getting my hands on every historical novel I can get. ToG sounds like it will impress.

• About Last Night by Ruthie Knox - I read the excerpt of this book over at Valerie's blog, and I wanted it so so so so bad because the excerpt was so so so so good. So I went and bought Ruthie Knox's debut novel, Ride with Me, and of course I LOVED it so when I saw Ruthie tweet about how the 1st 100 people to fill out a form, will get About Last Night from netgalley I jumped up and did it and got the book which makes me sooo soooo sooo happy! I'm currently reading the book (or sneaking it in between online courses!) and it's AMAZING. Even better than Ride with Me!

In the Carina Press: Editors Choice Volume 1:

• Slow Summer Kisses by Shannon Stacey - I love Shannon Stacey and I KNOW this book will be good *knocks on wood*.

• Negotiating Point by Adrienne Giordano -I love suspense romance novels and I hope this one is good!

• Kilts & Kraken by Cindy Spencer Pape  - I'm trying to branch out to read more historical novels for both adult and YA and this looks like a good book to start with!

Bought and will NOT be reading:

• SAT Study Guide- why will I not read it and study it? because of my freakin' online classes. I have no time to do anything else but my stupid online classes because I have to finish them before I leave to go home June 14th. So June 2nd I'm taking the SAT test and I will do soooo bad on it, I don't even care.

I was supposed to see Roth when she came to Houston but it was storming really bad and I couldn't drive to see her and when I talked to Kristin about it, she ended up getting me a copy of Divergent which she got SIGNED when she met Roth in NYC. Her Travis series is my all time favorite and Blue Eyed Devil by her is my all time favorite adult book and definitely in the top 3 of ALL TIME favorite books in general. So I can NOT wait to read Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor, which is book #1 in her Friday Harbor series, so I can read Rainshadow Road which is book #2.
